Cold Plasma Skincare
From Space to At-Home Use
The development of our cold plasma technology began over 20 years ago at the world-renowned Max-Planck Society. Here, numerous experiments were conducted in labs on earth and even aboard the International Space Station. After extensive research and development, the Phlas device was developed with a special focus on skincare.

Yes, Phlas can be easily integrated into your daily skincare routine. Please use the device on clean and dry skin, before applying creams and other beauty products.
Phlas uses terraplasma’s patented technology, which is distinct from other conventional cold plasma devices. Many traditional devices use DBD (Dielectric Barrier Discharge) plasma, which sends an electric current directly through the skin and releases plasma species as a by-product. Phlas uses advanced SMD (Surface Micro Discharge) technology – plasma gas is generated in the air, the active molecules are contained locally in the disposable spacer, and only these gas molecules (without any electrical current) come into contact with the skin. This technological approach makes the treatment exceptionally gentle, while maximizing effectiveness, by delivering the cold plasma molecules directly at the site.
